A long distant destination can challenge your imagination sometimes. What to do and carry to feel comfortable in the air? I always make a list of possible things to distract me and help me to cope with a long flight. Luckily, nowadays there are several essentials gadgets and tools to go through it smoothly.
Here’s my list of long haul flight essentials:
Have a collapsible bottle
Staying hydrated is fundamental when you are on the aeroplane. The aircraft cabin is known as a very dry place and drinking water will be the right thing to do. So, instead of bothering the aeroplane staff asking for water every 30 minutes, why not have your own bottle on board?
A que Bottle is a great option when looking for a sustainable alternative to the current plastic bulky ones. It’s functional, stylish and compact, fitting easily in your bag. The food-grade silicone material makes que Bottles safe for both hot and cold beverages.
Jet lag (less)
It can be hard to deal with jet lag sometimes. Luckily, there are some natural solutions on the market that can help us to cope with time zone changes and the all-uncomfortable feeling that long-haul travels can bring us. Jet Candy is a natural remedy that allows the internal body clock to function during long haul.
It helps with dehydration, fatigue, disorientation, mental sharpness and other symptoms associated with the disruption of the circadian rhythms. The remedy comes in a travel-sized dispenser with a practical pill distributor cap, perfect for carry-on, which you can tap, twist and take on the go.
Entertain yourself (level hard)
I know you already know, but a long flight can be as boring as it sounds. Even with all the entertainment provided by air companies nowadays, it’s still better to make a list of podcasts, music and books to read in the aeroplane.
I always play safe downloading my favourite songs and even take some studying to be done during the flight. The lack of Internet is perfect to catch up with some studies. Procrastination becomes a serious issue inside an aircraft sometimes. And never, never forget your headphones! They are lifesavers to all kind of situations.
Pamper yourself
Leave your make-up skills besides. All you need in a long flight is having your skin rested. So, use your creativity to take good care of your skin with products that will keep the dryness away. I always have travel masks, a good lip balm, and a lot of refreshing products that will keep my mood and body up to date.
Hope you enjoy your holiday like I do :O)
